Most backtests flatter. Strategy Lab is planned to test the rules you choose honestly: with the coins that died, the fees you'd really pay and nothing borrowed from the future, judged by the worst drop before the return. The waitlist decides whether we build it.
What it would do
- Your rules, not ours. You build a rule from simple, well-known parts and choose every setting. There are no CriptoFocus presets: our rules are private and aren't in it.
- The coins that died are included. Testing only today's survivors hides the losers. Strategy Lab would include coins that were later delisted.
- Real costs. Trading fees and slippage on every trade, so a strategy that only works for free shows up as a loser.
- No look-ahead. Decisions use only prices that were already known at the time.
- Worst drop first. Results lead with the deepest fall and the worst month, then the return.
The point is to find out what a rule really does before you risk money on it. If a rule only looks good with the dead coins left out, the fees ignored or the future peeked at, you'll see it.

Questions
Can I test CriptoFocus's own strategy in it? No. Our rules stay private; our results are public on the live record.
Is a good backtest a promise? No. A backtest shows what a rule would have done in the past. It can't promise anything about the future, which is why Strategy Lab would show the worst drop first.
