CriptoFocus
Lite: free beta · Full version: planned

Guardian: a drawdown brake for your own account.

You set the limits. The full version would watch how far your account has fallen from its peak through a read-only key and, in its paid versions, alert you on Telegram as it crosses one. It could never trade or touch your money. It's planned, and the waitlist decides it. Guardian Lite is already available as a free beta: you send your total, and it alerts you at your limits.

Guardian Lite, in Telegram

Not on Bybit, or don't want to wait? Guardian Lite works with any exchange or wallet, and it never asks for exchange keys. You send your account's total in Telegram. It tracks how far you are below your peak, leaves deposits and withdrawals out when you tell it about them, and alerts you when a total you send crosses the limits you set. Free during the beta, with limited places.

It only knows what you send. Alerts are free during the beta. The planned versions below would check your account automatically through a read-only key; the paid alerts listed there are for that automatic version.

How the full version would work

  1. Connect a read-only key. Create an API key on your exchange with read-only permission (Bybit first). Guardian would refuse any key that can trade or withdraw.
  2. Set your own three limits. For example, a warning, a slow-down and a stop, as a drop from your account's peak. There are no preset CriptoFocus levels: ours are private, and yours should fit your own account.
  3. Get told in time. Guardian would check your account's total value and leave deposits and withdrawals out. In the paid versions, it would send a Telegram alert as each of your limits is crossed. The free version would give a daily check and a weekly report.
  4. See your week. A short weekly report: your worst drop, where you stand against your limits, and how far you are from your peak.

What it will never do

Planned versions

Free

$0

  • 1 account
  • A daily check
  • Weekly report
Standard

$15 a month

  • 1 account
  • Checks through the day
  • Telegram alerts at your limits
Pro

$39 a month

Paid versions are planned in USDT, monthly, cancel any time. Nothing is charged now: joining the waitlist is free and doesn't commit you to anything. The waitlist asks which version you'd use.

One email if the full version launches, nothing else. If not enough people join, we won't build it and won't email you about anything else.

Questions

Is my key safe? The plan: read-only keys only, checked on connect; keys encrypted; nothing stored beyond what the checks need; and you can delete your key and data at any time. Even so, only connect a key you're comfortable with, and never give any app withdrawal permission.

Which exchanges? Bybit first. Others may follow, depending on the waitlist.

Is this CriptoFocus's own brake? It's the same idea for your account, with your limits. CriptoFocus's own levels stay private; its results are public on the live record.

When would it launch? There's no date. It depends on the waitlist.

For information only, not financial advice. A drawdown alert helps you stick to a rule; it can't remove risk or stop losses that happen between checks. Cryptoassets are highly volatile and you can lose all of your money.
