Free tool · copy-trader checker
Should you copy this trader?
Leaderboards sort by return. This checker grades a trader the other way round: worst drop first. Type in the figures from their profile and see the red flags spelled out. Nothing is stored or sent anywhere.
How the grade works
- Can't judge if the worst drop isn't shown, or the record is under a month. Missing risk is the biggest red flag of all.
- Weak if any serious flag is raised: a worst drop past Bybit Pro's 20% limit, leverage above 10×, or a worst drop deeper than a year's return (for records under 3 months: deeper than the return so far).
- Strong only with a worst drop within 20%, at least 2 units of yearly return per unit of worst drop, at least 6 months of history and no warnings.
- Fair for everything in between.
Return per unit of worst drop is the yearly return divided by the worst drop. A trader making 30% a year with a 10% worst drop (3 : 1) is a better bet than one making 60% with a 40% drop (1.5 : 1), even though the second one tops the leaderboard. Records under 3 months aren't turned into a yearly rate (a short lucky run would look enormous), so for them the checker compares the return so far with the worst drop.
What the grade can't see
- Open trades. Many profiles count only closed trades. Losing positions held open don't show up in the win rate or the drawdown until they're closed.
- The traders who blew up. Leaderboards show the survivors. The traders who took the same risks and lost aren't on the list any more.
- Your own entry. If you start copying after a big run, your first months can look very different from theirs.
Before you press follow, read how copy trading works, and see why we judge every trader by the worst month first. The drawdown recovery calculator shows what any drop costs to win back.
For information only, not financial advice. The grade uses only the figures you enter; it can't verify them. Past results never promise future ones.
