For Bybit users thinking about copy trading

Already on Bybit? 7 reasons to check CriptoFocus before you copy anyone.

Bybit's copy-trading leaderboard is full of eye-catching returns. Before you press follow on anyone, here's what to look for, and why CriptoFocus is built to be judged that way.

"The brake decides before I do." - every rule is written down first.

The 7 reasons

01

It will run where you already are

Copy trading will run on Bybit's own copy-trading platform, in your existing account. No new exchange, no transfers to anyone, and you can stop following at any time.

How following will work →
02

0% upfront, and you only share profits

No subscription to follow. Followers share a part of their profits (10–15%, set by Bybit's tiers), and only when there are profits.

03

Grade any trader before you press follow

Track Record Check turns a leaderboard profile into a worst-drop-first grade, with the red flags spelled out. Use it on anyone, including us.

04

It's judged by its worst month, not its best

Leaderboards rank traders by their best 30 days. CriptoFocus is built the other way round: a system has to pass its worst month before it's allowed to chase its best. We backtested the "always long, 5×" style of basket from 2021: it was wiped out, twice.

Why the worst month comes first →
05

A brake acts before the damage does

The whole account is watched around the clock, with deposits excluded. The further it falls from its peak, the less it's allowed to buy, until it's allowed to buy nothing. Bybit Pro's own limit is 20%; all three of our steps bite first.

How the brake works →
06

Every trade is public, losers included

The fund value and the brake are updated every day, and every closed trade is added once its week ends: winners and losers, nothing edited. Judge us over months, not days.

07

Every rule passed five years of tests, and most ideas didn't

More than 40 ideas have been tested across five years of data. Letting winners run, trading more often, trailing stops, hype coins and 5× leverage all failed the test, so none of them made it in.

Six ideas that failed →

Same market. A different idea of "good".

The leaderboard way

  • Ranked by the best 30 days
  • 5× leverage to make the number bigger
  • No written rule for a bad month
  • Drawdown shown somewhere in the small print
  • Strategy changes when it stops working

The CriptoFocus way

  • Judged by the worst month first
  • Spot trades; any future futures capped at 2×
  • A three-step brake in code, all before 20%
  • Drawdown in the headline, updated every day
  • Changes only after a five-year test

Questions people actually ask

Real money can fall, and so can yours. The system is designed to keep the worst drop inside 15% (the backtest's worst was about −14.5%), but backtests flatter and markets surprise. Only follow with money you can leave alone through a bad month.
Never. Following happens on the exchange's own platform, in your own account. You can stop at any time.
Not yet. Bybit only shows a master trader's record from inside its copy-trading account, so we're building that record properly first. Tap "Notify me" and you'll get one email when it opens.
No. This site shows a method and a track record, not a recommendation. Crypto is volatile; do your own research and never invest money you can't afford to lose.

Be first in line when the record is ready to copy.

Don't invest unless you're prepared to lose all the money you invest. This is a high-risk investment and you should not expect to be protected if something goes wrong. Past results, live or backtested, don't guarantee future ones. CriptoFocus never holds your funds. Nothing here is financial advice.
